Remote Location Recording
GSA offers professional remote location recording. Using the highest quality hand-built stereo microphones, Crane Song Flamingo Preamps, STC8 Compressors, and the highest definition DSD recorders, our location recordings are among the finest in the industry.
Fine art clients range from large symphonies, orchestras, and chamber groups, to professional choirs, college choirs, boys' choirs, and many talented small ensembles. Gerry has recorded and produced over 450 professional quality projects from location recordings around the world!
After the initial capture of the concerts, the recording is transferred into the studio computer system. From there we can edit and master to the client's personal taste. Mastering is suggested for all location recordings if it is going to be released as product for public distribution.
CD/DVD orders can be fulfilled in two ways. GSA can duplicate them for you. Usually we take "non-paper goods" orders under 500 units. Larger orders can take advantage of my corporate affiliation with Noiseland Industries in Minneapolis. You will find that our prices are unbeatable in terms of quality and service. Photography and graphic design for paper goods are also available.
It is worth mentioning that this part of GSA has grown significantly over the last 4 years. Each year more and more great artists and organizations have contracted Gerry to record their groups. He has enjoyed revisiting the classical music world and fine arts organizations, having left them for more than a decade to mix rock concerts all over the world.
